How to apply for UP Domicile Certificate Online?

  • Visit the UP eDistrict official portal. (Citizen Services Center or a Nagar Nigam Service Center).
  • Click on the Services menu from the main menu.
  • Select Residence Certificate download option.
  • UP Residence Certificate application form will be displayed.
  • Download the UP Residence Certificate application for applying UP Residence Certificate.
  • Before filling the application form, go through the application form once because false information or incorrect information may lead to the rejection of your application form.
  • Fill the application form with correct information.
  • Attach the copies of above said required supporting documents.
  • Submit the application form along with the supporting documents.
  • You will get a receipt which contains your application number or reference number.
  • Save it for further reference.
  • By using this reference number or application number you can track the status of your UP Residence application form.

  • Status tracking popup window will be displayed.
  • Enter your Residence application number and click the search button.
  • A window will be displayed with your UP Residence application status.

  • Visit your nearest Citizen Services Center or Nagar Nigam Service Center or your nearest MRO or Deputy Tahsildhar office or a Stationery shop where you can find UP Residence Certificate application form.
  • Take an application form for applying UP Residence Certificate.
  • Before filling the application form, go through the application form once because false information or incorrect information may lead to the rejection of your application form.
  • Fill the application form with correct information.
  • Attach the copies of above said required supporting documents.
  • Submit the application form along with the supporting documents at your Deputy Tahsildhar office or MRO office.
  • You will get an acknowledgement which contains your application number or reference number.
  • Save it for further reference.

  • If the Residence Certificate is ready then you can download it and take the print.
