As we all very well know that the first Government in Telangana State was formed by the TRS party in the year 2014. There was still 9 months time when the chief minister of Telangana decided to dissolve the Government and called for early elections. After these circumstances, the election commission has decided to schedule the Assembly elections of Telangana State to be held on 7th December 2018. The election campaign of all the major parties who are contesting in this battle has come to an end yesterday. From the current circumstances, it is very clear that the fight is between the TRS and the maha kutami. The TRS party is contesting in all the 119 assembly constituencies whereas the Maha Kutami (the alliance formed by the Indian National Congress party, TDP- Telugu Desam Party, Telangana Jana Samithi, and the CPI). Whereas the BJP is contesting in all the 119 constituencies, MIM in 8 constituencies and this time the independent candidate’s number is more.
Voting Process in Telangana:
For the first time in Telangana State, the election commission is using VVPAT machines for voting. The full form of VVPAT is Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail. These VVPAT machines are used in all the 32,574 polling stations across the Telangana State.

Telangana Exit Polls:
The Telangana exit poll results will be declared after the voting ends in Telangana State i.e., tomorrow. As scheduled by the election commission of Telangana State the polling in all the 119 constituencies will be on 7th December.
Telangana Election opinion Polls:
As per the leading survey agencies, the Telangana election opinion polls are like the ruling party TRS is expected to win 70 seats, Congress could win 31, whereas TDP can get 2 seats, MIM- 8 seats and the BJP party is expected to win 3 seats. But after these opinion polls as the election campaign moves on there is a difference that can be clearly noticed during the last fifteen days. According to the leading surveys on 9th November the survey has been completely changed and the TRS is expected to win 42 seats whereas the Congress bags 64 seats and 13 seats for others.
Telangana Elections Polling Percentage:
The Telangana State election commissioner Dr Rajat Kumar said in an interview that there would be no election campaign before 48 hours of the election. i.e., the election campaign for the 2018 elections ends on 5th December at 04:00 PM. He also added that they are expecting a good polling percentage in Telangana Assembly elections.
