The Vivo X60 series is finally going to launch on March 25th, 2021 officially. The series is going to bring three new phones, namely, X60, X60 Pro and the X60 Pro+ soon after the launch taking place in Chinese markets.
The price for Vivi X60 series in Indian Markets starts from INR 39,100 onwards (CNY 3498) with X60. Vivo X60 Pro shall be roughly INR 50,600 (CNY 4498) expensively making X60 Pro+ to be around INR 56500 (CNY 4998).
While the company has not revealed any information about the hardware of the devices, we have previously received exclusive information from sources close to the matter that the X60 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The X60 and X60 Pro sets shall be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. This recently launched chip is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Based on 7nm process technology, this chip comes with a Kryo 385 CPU and has a tri-cluster architecture.
As for the X60 Pro+, Vivo will equip the device with a Snapdragon 888 SoC, the most powerful Qualcomm SoC available at the moment. Similar chipset is seen available in many flagship smartphones in the year 2020-2021. The promising performance of this chipset is likely to perform all the heavy tasks such as high-quality graphic gaming, animation, high-resolution photography, smooth touch experience, multitasking, and many more.
Apart from the chipsets, tehre is no other confirmed information reveal yet about these series that too in the Indian models. However, it is true that we expect them to feature similar specs to what’s available on the models launched in China.
With a minor reveal, the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro is expected to flaunt with enigmatic 6.56-inch Full HD+ (2376 x 1080 pixels) resolution displays that use an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz high refresh rate and offer HDR10+ playback certification. Paired with the above-mentioned chipsets could be up to 12GB of RAM on the phones.
The smartphones definitely shall be available with the 5G network connectivity and the latest software Android 11 version.
As far as the cameras are concerned, Vivo is popular for its fantastic camera qualities, a straight competitor to Redmi, Realme and Oppo. The optical factors in Vivo X60 Pro+ are such that it includes 50-mega pixel primary shooter, a 48-mega pixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 32 mega pixel depth sensor and a 8-megapixel periscope camera. The quad lens structure is same with Vivo X60 Pro as 48+13+13+8. In case of Vivo X60, the structure reduces to triple rear camera setup that houses 48+13+13.
Alongside announcing the event, Vivo has also made the teaser pages for the X60 series live on both e-commerce giants Flipkart and Amazon, confirming that the series shall be sold on both the platforms.
